Description

Passo del Colombardo is a high mountain pass at an elevation of 1.888m above the sea level, located in the province of Turin in the Italian region Piedmont. The road over the pass, also known as Col de Colombardo is mostly gravel. It has been recently renovated. The road is narrow, very steep, and usually closed in winters.
At the summit, there’s a small church, called Santuario della Madonna degli Angeli. The name of the pass has its origin, probably, in the name of a wind that blows from Lombardy.
A gravel bike classic is ridden during the famous Torino Nice Rally!
