Description
This is the long version of the climb. The climb starts in Stavelot at the bridge over the Amblève. About halfway, after the steepest part is a statue showing the main victories of the famous Belgian cyclist Eddy Merckx. During the race of Liege Bastogne Liege at this point the rides will go down to Stavelot again. The real climb still goes up for about 1.3 km.
