Description
In the year 2000 the third stage of the Deutschland Tour led over the Kandel. Udo Bölts was the first to reach the summit. On 13 August 2005, a mountain time trial from Waldkirch to Kandel took place as part of the Regio Tour. Best was Tony Martin with a time of 33 minutes and 43 seconds.
