Description
This side of the La Colmiane was at the finish of the 7th stage of the Paris-Nice 2018. Simon Yates attacked in the last kilometers, won the stage and took the yellow jersey, lost by Luis Léon Sanchez.
In Paris Nice 2020 the finish of the complete stage was at the top of this mountain, this was because the last traditional stage to Nice was not held anymore. Quintana won by attacking 4 kilometers before the finishing line. The Colombian was then unstoppable and went on to a stage victory. Benoot made an all-or-nothing attempt to win Paris-Nice, but it didn't bring him more than a second place in the day's result and twelve seconds on Schachmann. Thus Schachmann eventually won Paris-Nice, ahead of Benoot and Higuita.
