Description
The highest of Mallorca's peaks towers mightily 1436 metres above the Mediterranean. Most cyclists on Mallorca are familiar with the Puig Major – those who ride it usually mean "only" the Túnel de Monnàber under the massif. The road all the way up is a restricted military area and inaccessible.
Once a year the road will be opened as part of the "Kill the hill". With a gradient of up to 12%, it is a challenge in the midst of a fabulous landscape and views that are otherwise reserved for a few. Breathtaking in every respect.
