Panther Pass is a high mountain pass at an elevation of 1.760m above the sea level, located in Brewster County, Texas, in the USA.
The road to the summit, located in the Big Bend National Park, is asphalted. It’s called Chisos Basin Road. This road was constructed by the Civilian Conservation Corps in the 1930s. As this scenic, winding road rises over two thousand feet above the desert floor, it offers breath-taking vistas of the mountain peaks and the erosion-formed basin area.
