Description
Passo Godi is in the central Abruzzo Apennines, between Monte Godi to the west (2011 m) and Monte Serra Rocca Chiarano (2262 m) to the east, in the south-eastern part of the province of L’Aquila, Abruzzo, crossed by the Sannite regional road 479, which climbs north from the Sagittario Gorges along the Tasso-Sagittario valley. Home to a ski resort of the same name, on the central-eastern edge of the Abruzzo, Lazio and Molise National Park, it represents the watershed between the Aterno-Pescara catchment area to the north and the Sangro to the south.
