This side has been named like this because of its "smaller" resemblance to the famous Italian Poggio.
Several pro races:

Phillipe Gilbert was the 2016 Belgian champion, Little Poggio was part of the final circuit.
Remco Evenpoel was Belgian Junior champion in 2018 on the heights of the Petit Poggio.
