Description
In the Giro d'Italia, the Kronplatz was also visited several times. In 2008 and 2010 a climbing time trial was organized on the flanks of Kronplatz. This was won by Franco Pellizotti (*) and Stefano Garzelli respectively. The first one was later excluded from the results in favor of Gilberto Simoni.
