Description

There is a bench named after Mr Pos, the Posbank. Officially, the climb is called Potjesberg, because many urn remains were found there in the past.

In the 2016 Giro, the peloton rode through Maarten Tjallingii's region. On Saturday, Maarten Tjallingii was still beaten by Omar Fraile on his way to Nijmegen, but in the stage to Arnhem he did not let himself be surprised on his Posbank. In a long sprint on the power, Tjallingii left his fellow breakaway riders Johann Van Zyl and Giacomo Berlato behind, collected the three mountain points at the summit and thus took over the blue jersey from Fraile.
