Description

In 2019 Tadej Pogacar launched his attack on the first-category Puerto de Peña Negra, the fifth of six categorized climbs that day on the 190km route through the Sierra de Gredos, with just under 40km remaining. On the top, he had an advantage of 1.40 which he didn't lose any more. He won his third stage that day on the Plataforma de Gredos.
