Description

On this climb in 2021 the Jumbo-Visma leader Primoz Roglic cracks on the Signal d'Uchon and slumps to over nine minutes down. On the final big climb of stage 7, the Signal d'Uchon, and with the main breakaway up the road, Roglic began to slip back on the steepest 18 per cent slopes, as Richard Carapaz (Ineos Grenadiers) put in two significant attacks. Roglic eventually lost contact with the peleton. With this time los his Tour de France 2021 hopes fade.
