Beschreibung
In the year of the 75th edition of the Circuito de Getxo, the Pike Bidea was added to the final. The two kilometre long climb (at an average of fourteen percent) connects the town of Sondika with the Alto de Artxanda and is fifteen kilometres from the finish. "A beautiful wall, which can give more colour to the race and offers more possibilities for the riders", says organizer Mikel Guinea before the race.
This turns out to be a success in 2020 as the race progresses. On the climb, the final of the race breaks open and 5 riders will leave, including the later winner Damiano Caruso.
