The ascent to Alto de Agiña from Oiartzun is a shorter but punchy climb in the Basque Country, often tackled alongside Aritxulegi. Covering 4.5 km with an average gradient of 7% and ramps exceeding 10%, the climb follows the GI-3454 road, winding through dense forest before opening up near the summit. The road is narrow and well-paved, with several sharp bends adding to the challenge. At the top, riders are rewarded with panoramic views of the surrounding valleys and a glimpse into the borderlands between Gipuzkoa and Navarre. Agiña is a less-traveled but scenic climb, making it a hidden gem for cyclists looking for a tough yet peaceful ascent.
