Descrizione
The Große Feldberg is located in the Taunus mountains, about 20 km from Frankfurt. With a height of 880 meters it is the highest elevation in the region and visible from a distance. Due to its proximity to the Rhine-Main area, it is completely overrun at the weekend and attracts many motorcyclists.
The road from Hohemark is a good 12 km long, but not as steep as the road from Königstein. In good weather, the summit has a good view of the surrounding Mittelgebirge and above all Frankfurt. Well know from the Rund um den Henninger Turm.
