Descrizione
Initially, the Tour de France 2021 was to start in Copenhagen. However, due to the relocation of the Olympic Games, the start of the Tour was brought forward by one week, which collided with the European Football Championship in Copenhagen. Because of this it was decided that Copenhagen would be able to organise the Tour start in 2022. The climb was initially in the route of the Tour de France 2021.
