Descrizione
The Col du Rosier is the longest climb of the Doyenne, only approached by the Côte de Mont-le-Soie, earlier in the race. Together with the Maquisard, the Rosier is the only slope of Liège-Bastogne-Liège that can be called a col. The Col du Rosier is known to cycling tourists by the Rosier Test. This is the climb from Spa, over 5.9 km. The Chrono that is noted appears to be a good measure of the condition. In Liege-Bastogne-Liège, however, the riders take the eastern flank of the col. Short but a lot steeper.
