Beschrijving
On the flank of the Lettenberg you can see some restored bunkers of the British troops from the First World War. The hill was undermined at the beginning of 1917 by the British "175th Tunnelling Company" and equipped with underground shelters. In cycling, the Lettenberg was included as a slope in Gent-Wevelgem in 1972 (winner Roger Swerts), 1990 (winner Herman Frison) and 1993 (winner Mario Cipolinni).
