Description
The Pikasary climb has a quiet and remote atmosphere, with a narrow road winding through the Basque countryside, surrounded by green hills and open pastures. The steep gradients make the climb physically demanding, and the road is usually quiet, with occasional cyclists or local farmers passing by. The air is fresh, often carrying the sounds of cowbells from nearby fields. At the top, the view opens up to the Bidarray valley, offering a rewarding panorama before the short but technical descent.
