Descripción
Mölltaler Gletscherstraße is only 15 kilometres east of the south side of Großglockner Hochalpenstraße. In contrast to its world-famous bigger brother, however, the Mölltaler Glacierstrasse is completely unknown to cyclists. Also regional cyclists rarely or never cycle from Flattach or Außerfragant up to the Weißseehaus, probably because the climb is so beastly tough and not as beautiful as the Großglockner or the Kaunertal. However, the climb to the Weißseehaus and a little higher definitely belongs to the top three of Austria and clearly surpasses these two in severity. For this reason alone a real challenge.
