Contrary to other years (2015 and 2017), the riders of the Vuelta did not climb the mountain twice in 2019. In 2015 and 2017 they had to go to the highest point of the mountain (400 meters) at the last crossing. in 2019, they climbed up to 340 metres and then continue straight on.
